Consult a GP or Optometrist
Before seeing Dr Park, you need a referral from your GP or optometrist. These general practitioners will be able to help you understand and guide you on the right course of action in regards to your eye health. If further examinations, treatments or surgery is needed, you will be referred to Ophthalmologist, Dr Park.
Get A Referral Letter
A referral from your GP or Optometrist is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. A referral from another specialist is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Therefore it’s advised that you obtain your referral as close to your appointment date as possible.
Select a Specialist
A referral is valid for any Ophthalmologist of your choice, so you are free to shop around to find a specialist you trust to take take care of your eye treatments, surgery and after care. Vision is a critical part of your life experience, and it is important that you make informed and un-rushed decisions about your eye care. Dr Park is available to provide a second opinion on your condition and recommended treatment options, so that you can be confident that you are getting the best available eye care for your circumstances.
